Putting First Things First!

Have you ever heard of the 7 habits of highly effective people? It’s a great read or listen! One of the great lessons  is “Putting first things first.”

In the lesson is speaks about the quadrant of life. There are 4 parts of the quadrant.

Things that are important and urgent, important but not urgent, not important but urgent, not important and not urgent.

When it comes to someones health most people spend all their time doing the things that are not important but not urgent and as a result things then become urgent and important (crisis start to happen). The unimportant and not urgent things that people do are have binges, don’t invest time into their health with exercise and eating well and making this a priority.

So what happens when you don’t invest in your body and do see the importance of it. Eventually crisis happens, Diabetes, Stroke, Heart Attack, Cancer, Weight gain, No Energy. All things that could have been prevented if time was invested in the beginning.

Think about Investing in your body NOW! Do things like Get a Personal trainer, learn how to eat healthy, seek nutritional advice, join up to a group training program, set clear goals of what you want to achieve. These are all key factors to not run into crisis down the track!
